First Period -
1991
Daiko, a producer from B-Gram Records, wanted to make a band with 3 members and after some auditions the 3 lucky members were choose. Those were the chosen ones: Show Wesugi as vocalist, Hiroshi Shibasaki as guitarist and Kosuke Oshima as keyboardist. On 4th december 1991 their debut single "Sabishisa wa Aki no Iro" released.
1992
On 13th may 1992 their second single "Furimuite Dakishimete" release together with their first album “WANDS”, a month later after the single, 17th june 1992. On the 1st july they released their 3rd single "Motto Tsuyoku Dakishimetanara". After this single WANDS took a little break but they remained stable on top of the charts for 7 months. This band with an unique style surely had to have a secure success. After the release of this 3rd single Kosuke Oshima left Wands. On september 1992 Shinya Kimura (which is said to be Show Wesugi’s old friend) joined the band as keyboardist and mix producer
Second Period -
1993
On 26th february 1993 Wands released their 4th single "Toki no Tobira" and their popularity becomes higher and higher. On 17th april 1993 their second album released and it had the same namie of the previous single. This album sold more than 2,000,000 copies. The same day they released their 5th single "Ai wo Kataruyori Kuchizuke wo Kawasou". On 19th june 1993 the collaboration single "Hateshinai Yume wo" that includes big 90’s artists (WANDS,ZARD, ZYYG, REV & with the famous baseball player Nagashima Shigeo as main artists and other big artists like Maki Oguro as chorus) released. On 7th june 1993 Wands made their 6th single, Koiseyo Otome. On 6th october 1993 they released their 3rd album "Little Bit" and a month after that, 17th novembre 1993, their 7th single "Jumpin' Jack Boy/White Memories released. On december they recorded an exclusive video for White Memories at Shibuya ON AIR.
1994
On april 1994, WANDS were invited at Shibuya ON AIR. On june 1994 their 8th single "Sekaiga Owaru Made Wa" released and in the same month their first tour live at Nakano Sanplatinum started. The tour was called "LIVE-JUNK 1st KEEP MY ROCK 'N ROAD" and all the concert’s tickets were sold in few hours.
1995
On 13rd february 1995 their 9th single "Secret Night - It's my treat -" released. On 24th april 1995 their 4th album "Piece of My Soul"released. Since 1994 Wands style changed a lot, infact they starter to make more rock music than pop music. Their popularity become more higher than before. On 4th dicember their 10th single "Same Side" released.
1996
On 26th february 1996 their 11th single "WORST CRIME - About a rockstar who was a swindler" released and after that Show Wesugi and Hiroshi Shibasaki suffered of crisis about what they wanted to do. On 16th march 1996 Wands released the "Singles Collection +6" that contains the songs of their singles plus 6 new songs. After the release of this album a there was a long silence
Third Period -
1997
The band took a break because of Wesugi’s and Hiroshi’s crisis. In the end Show Wesugi and Hiroshi Shibasaki left the band because the music they wanted to do was in conflict with the one that their manager wanted Wands to do. Jiro Waku took Show Wesugi’s place as vocalist while Issei Sugimoto took Hiroshi Shibasaki’s place as guitarist. On 3rd september the Third period of Wands released the 12th single "Sabitsuita Machine Gun De Ima Wo Uchi Nukou" and 2 months after they released the best album "WANDS BEST - HISTORICAL BEST ALBUM".
1998
On 11th february 1998 their 13th single "Brand New Love" released, the single kept the II period stile with mostly rock songs and the song was writte by Izumi Sakai "ZARD". After that they released their 14th single "Ashita Moshi Kimi Ga Kowaretemo" which was written again by Izumi Sakai. After this single their style become more hard rock.
1999
On 31th march their 15th and latest single "Kyou Nanikano Hazumide Ikiteiru" released but their sales were really low since when Wesugi and Shibasaki left. On 27th october 1999 their latest studio album "AWAKE" released. The band disbanded because their sales were really poor.
2000
On 26th april 2000 their new best album, "BEST OF WANDS HISTORY" and their only dvd "BEST OF WANDS HISTORY CLIPS" released.
2002
On 25th august 2002 their final best "COMPLETE OF WANDS AT THE BEING STUDIO" released.
