Wands is a japanese popular band of 90’s. The band was formed in 1991 and disbanded in 1999 but in these years there were many changes with the members, infact all the former members left.
1991 – 1992:
Show Wesugi as vocalist, Hiroshi Shibasaki as guitarist and Kosuke Oshima as keyboardist.
1993 – 1996:
Show Wesugi as vocalist, Hiroshi Shibasaki as guitarist and Shinya Kimura as keyboardist.
1997 – 1999:
Jiro Waku as vocalist, Issei Sugimoto as guitarist and Shinya Kimura as keyboardist.
This 3 periods were called WANDS PERIOD I,II, III but the band wasn’t meant to be like that (it didn’t planned a generation thing like Morning Musume). The members left due to musical conflicts.
Show Wesugi is actually a solo artist, while Hiroshi Shibasaki joined the support band of TM Revolution and Kosuke Oshima works with Zwei since 2006;
About the other 3 members we know nothing.
Wands are actually at 13th place of all the time best selling "bands with male vocalist" in Japan.
